Five Ways to Fall
K.A. Tucker

Ben meets his match when he sets eyes on Reese. What was thought a chance meeting, these two cross paths down the line in the workplace. Starting out as friends soon develops into much more. A surprise to both,  proving love hits hard when you least expect it.

I enjoyed this series, characters and the varying plots. Five Ways to Fall was a great wrap up and I can’t wait to see what deliciousness Tucker has for her fans next.

Ben was a character I found charming in Ten Tiny Breaths. Thrilled Tucker decided to expand on Ben and write Five Ways to Fall telling his story. Discovering Ben’s past, present and future was funny, sad, serious matching the character.

Reese is colorful. Her life has had its challenges. A rebellious and wild teen. Married at 19 to a man she just met thus ending in heartbreak. Celebrating her 21st birthday in Cancun she meets big Ben and their interaction blooms.

Reading of Ben and Reese’s budding relationship was downright fun. The love-hate element, the undeniable attraction and sexual chemistry, their whip smart quips proved charming, leaving the reader to cheer on these two anti relationship believers into lovers for a lifetime. The slow course this plucky pair embarked on was well done, pacing was perfect. Tucker’s narrative builds tension revealing enough back story pulling the reader into the heart, emotional depth and mind of both characters.

Five Ways to Fall was a great way to end a successful series. I always enjoy a friends turn lovers romance and this particular novel hit the mark. Offering a strong female lead matched with a hunky tender brainy man is a perfect mix. Full of humor, and emotions, you will want to add this book as well as the series to your TBR. You can read this book as a standalone but I encourage you to read the entire series, doubtful you will be disappointed. Start at the beginning and relish the journey of Tucker’s plots and vibrant characters.

“She just… fits with me. So perfectly.”
